Our activities include formal, academic and social components. After completing the activities, students are expected to:
Write better English
With reference to the study guide and other academic resources, Delegates are expected to submit position papers and draft chairman's statements. They are required to cover the background and development of the topic, positions and recommendations of the member states in formal and diplomatic language.
When the discussion stage ends, the resolution stage begins. Delegates work together to turn the discussion into enforceable legal language. |
Be familiar with public speaking
After the orientation, Delegates fall into Programme sessions. They participate in meetings, represent member states and discuss topics. Apart from presenting their research materials, they have to respond to the questions put by the chairpersons, submissions made by other Delegates and “crises” (unexpected case scenarios).
