Conferences
Simulative academic conferences are activities in which secondary and tertiary students represent a member state, discuss on a topic, participate in a meeting and reach consensus.
For example, you would represent Brunei Darussalam, present your research on organised crime, interact with other delegates in the ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime (AMMTC) and produce a draft chairman's statement at the end. Awards are made for Delegates who demonstrate excellence in oral advocacy, written advocacy and diplomatic courtesy. |
Ambassador Programmes
Our activities do not require experience. Through academic resources and an orientation, we offer systematic training for beginners to hit the ground running.
For those who would like to begin from scratch, ambassador programmes offer more comprehensive experience. Instead of competitive discussion sessions, we spend more time exploring Southeast Asian cultures. Apart from gaining membership, Delegates also become ambassadors of the Associations in their home countries. |
Our brands
Apart from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and United Nations (UN), we run simulative academic conferences also on the themes of the African Union (AU), European Union (EU), South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) and Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Our activities begin with Southeast Asian and Asia Pacific. Examples include Southeast Asian Model European Union 1 (SEAMEU-1), Southeast Asian Model United Nations 2 (SEAMUN-2) and Asia Pacific Model United Nations 2020 (APMUN-2020). |
